On a HOT summer's night Melbourne based folk-pop-punk poet Alana Wilkinson hosted the single launch for her song ‘Good for you’ at humble.something.

Alana transformed the gallery space into a dreamy performance space, the stage was crowned with a wreath of gum leaves, rugs and cushions lined the floor with string lights zigzagging overhead, the stage was set for a beautiful evening.

The event was held in the midst of bushfire season, and proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund, Alana had partnered with a collection of local artists whose work was donated to raise money for Neil Morris’ Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities. Artists Gracey Calnin, Morgannah Noble and Tilly Riches created new art throughout the night to be donated. The night started with performances by Skÿe and Meiwa and then concluded with Alana performing her new single ‘Good for you’.

It was a sweltering Melbourne summer night with a magical soundtrack.
